Mac GPU question

I was wondering if as a mac user with the gpu that came with the macbook, do i need to get an aws account to use the gpu? or is there an nvidia driver for the mac? thank you in advance

Depends on your Mac model. Some older MacbookPro models have NVidia GPUs, which do support CUDA and can be used for acceleration. But most newer models use AMD GPUs which don’t support CUDA.

If you do have a nvidia GPU, you can follow this guide:

Unless it’s an NVIDIA GPU you won’t have much luck on your Mac. But you can always use the instructions for using a GPU in the cloud. Please follow the instructions on the slides for installing MXNet via conda.
