I followed the instructions to launch Create and Run an EC2 Instance, yet I got a failure message. How to resolve this?
During lecture he demonstrated how to submit a ticket to resolve this.

Just ask for a new limit of 1 which will take about 12 hours. Asking for more will take longer.
I submitted a ticket a couple hours ago and they approved it in about 10 minutes.
It takes about another 10 minutes for it to take effect.
Actually, if you allow AWS to call you, you should get a callback within minutes. At least, even when at CMU that’s what happened (we have a different system internally 
).
